Jacobs Cottage by the Ocean offers self catering accommodation in a cosy cottage located 200 metres from Sunwich Port main Beach with stunning breaker views.
The inviting self contained cottage can accommodate 4 guests with two bedrooms, 1 with 2 single beds and the main bedroom with a queen bed and sitting space. Guests can admire a 160 degree view of the ocean and enjoy the large fenced off garden with braai facilities. The cottage is pet friendly, guests are to advise before hand to arrange if they would like to bring along their fur babies.
Dstv Compact package provided. (No need to bring your own decoder!) WiFi also available.
Lots of secure parking space.
Small essential shopping convenience stores is just a minute walk away. Orcas Pub and Grill and great Restaurants in the area.
Sunwich Port is between Banana Beach and South Port Blue Flag Beach. 10 km from Port Shepstone.

It was a lovely warm welcoming environment. Really enjoyed our stay. Host were very hospitable.
All in all, it was a warm & welcoming stay. Very clean, comfy beds & great utensils to use in the kitchen.. A lovely walk to the beach.. MOST OF All, loved that the beach at Voetplaakpark & cottage is pet friendly, a big garden for pets to run around in, thank you Helena!

Jacob's Cottage is very private, the garden is lovely and the view of the sea is very refreshing and relaxing. We enjoyed braaing. Our doggies enjoyed running around and were happy. Walks on the beach were very enjoyable. We were sad to leave. We needed a bit longer.
My daschund Emily & I spent a magnificent 3 week holiday at Jacob’s Cottage in December last year. The environment was so peaceful ! The cottage was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Loved the garden not to mention the delicious paw paws. The walk to the sea was so pleasant and the amenities perfect. We felt safe & comfortable and had an awesome holiday. Helena & Des were most welcoming and helpful. A big win for Emily & I. Regards
Had a lovely stay at Jacob's Cottage, our hostess Helen was was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from when we got there, the view of the ocean was stunning and we will definitely pop in again for a visit
From your doorstep you look out over the ocean and watch the ships go by. Close enough to walk to the beachfront and local shops to buy ciggies, take aways and beer. Fantastic hosts to make you feel welcome and informative about what is happening, where to eat out and what to see on the South Coast. But we had to introduce them to "skilpadjies " Great place to stay - highly recommended.

A very warm welcome, we found the cottage to be very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the location as it was very peaceful and tranquil. The host was absolutely pleasant and allowed us total freedom. We enjoyed the surroundings and found easy access to the beach and nearby towns. It was truly a home away from home experience.
Des and Helena are very welcoming and friendly hosts! They made our stay so enjoyable! They also went out of their way to make our fur-babies feel at home. The cottage is cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed the garden with the 160 degree view of the sea! The beds are very comfortable and the new high quality linen was appreciated! We will definitely be back! Thanks again!
