Welcome to Mango Beach Lodge, situated in the heart of Tofo. We can accommodate up to 36 guests with various unit options. Our famous restaurant is on the dune, right on the beach. Guests have access to our 150 meters of private beach.
Our cabanas are clean, rustic and have a tropical resort feeling.
Mango Beach ECO lodge strives to be an environmentally friendly and responsible lodge, sustaining and conserving our natural environment as well as assisting to improve the welfare of our local people.
We run fully off solar power, however we have a backup generator. Our emphasis is on environmental responsibility and minimizing negative impact on our surroundings.
We have a borehole with clean fresh drinking water.
At our lodge we offer you clean and carefully designed guest rooms, utilizing all natural and locally sourced materials. Due to this, our rooms are all Non-Smoking facilities.
Our Beach bar and Restaurant are located right on top of the Dune facing a 180 degree view of the beach, with our Cabanas tucked behind the dune. There is a large reef that runs right in front of us creating a natural rock pool that is fabulous to wallow in without having to brave the waves - and also perfectly safe for kids, with the best snorkeling in Tofo.
Electrical power (220V/50H) supplied by Solar and generator at night.
We are 3.5km away from Tofo center. 4x4 vehicles are reccomended however 2x4 vehicles with a dif lock are suitable. We offer shuttle services from Inhambane airport and Tofo town.

We stayed at Mango for 2 weeks in January. The lodge is idyllic, tropical and has an amazing feeling to it. It is right on the beach, with the restaurant being at the top of the dune on the beach. There is a rock pool in high tide which is perfect for snorkelling and kids swimming. The cabanas are simple, neat and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The lodge is sprayed and very clean, so there are very few mosquitoes.

What a place, Mango Beach surpassed all our expectations. An ECO lodge at its best. Beautiful views, excellent food and great staff and owners.
