With panoramic views of the Drakensberg Mountains, in a tranquil country setting, the feeling of relaxation and romance is almost tangible. We have five luxurious self-catering lodges and 8 cottages which are set on the Invermooi Angus Stud farm in the foothills of the majestic Drakensberg, 22 km’s outside of Nottingham Road KZN.
Invermooi Estate is a premier trout fishing holiday venue. The location is ideal for both anglers and non-anglers alike. The Estate has 5 dams, McNab, Malachite, Trophy, Osprey, WildFry (Children's dam) and 8km of river fishing. Set on a working farm, it is a great place to enjoy the countryside, watch the birds and other wildlife, horse riding, picnic at one of the dams as well as to fish. There is plenty to do for family and friends in the surrounding area, and the local Nottingham Road village has much to offer and explore as well as a few good pubs to try out.
In Room Facilities:Invermooi Estate has established numerous self-catering lodges to cater for a picturesque and peaceful getaway from the city, providing numerous activities. An ideal setting for relaxation and the enjoyment of the outdoors. Invermooi Estate Lodges are conveniently situated around Invermooi Estate to give our guests the privacy they require when experiencing the wonderful facilities including fly fishing, hiking and relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Our lodges are exquisitely furnished for the comfort of our visitors.

Invermooi Estate must be one of THE most beautiful farms in KZN. It offers a variety of accommodation options to suit most budgets. We stayed at Rainbow Lodge and found it to be exceptionally well equipped, with spacious rooms throughout and the modcons you will need. The cosy fireplace was a winner in winter! Already planning our next trip!
What you see on the pictures is what you get. It is a lovely working farm. The views, vegetation, animals, dams, etc are beautiful. The lodges are very clean and each room is well equipped with everything that you can think of. From the kitchen, bedrooms, living areas and patio areas you will find your perfect spot. Everyday there is cleaning service. Firewood is well supplied. The only advise to note is come well stocked with food, drinks and drinking water. Nottingham Road is 22km away.
