The Mews is a comfortable f,2 bedroom fully furnished and equipped house on the Main street in Clarens.
Accommodation:
4 The Mews, is a modern self catering townhouse in a secure and quiet establishment of eight town houses well positioned in the Main tarred street of Clarens.
The Mews is fully equipped to cater for long and short stays, has a garage and access to the complex is through an auto controlled gate.
This guest house caters for a maximum of 4 people. The main bedroom has a queen bed with full en suite bathroom and the second bedroom has 2 single beds with a separate bathroom with shower. All bedding, towels and soap are provided. Under floor heating, a gas heater and on every bed is an electric blanket for the chilly winter nights.
We are a pet friendly establishment. Maximum two pets allowed at a charge of R40 per pet per day.
Facilities:
There is an outside built in braai on the premises. Full DSTV, Netflix and wi-fi is offered. There is a single garage and the second car can be parked next to the unit with no under roof parking.
The Kitchen:
The kitchen is open plan with the living and dining room. It is well equipped and has a stove, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. It also contains cutlery and crockery.
There is complementary tea, coffee, creamer, and sugar.
Location:
It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, galleries, and other amenities in Clarens. For those who cannot leave pets at home, we welcome them at 4 The Mews.
Activities:
Enjoy leisurely walks to the Town Dam. It is a quick walk to the square where you can enjoy the restaurants, coffee and shops.
Visitors can also have a variety of activities to chose from and they include, white water rafting, horse riding, quad biking, hiking, tennis, squash, trout fishing, art courses, golf, abseiling, mountain trails and nature reserves which some also have bushman paintings, sunset safari tours and cave walks up the beautiful mountains and visit Afriski during the winter times.

Variety
Main roads to town are recommended for daylight use only. Small town atmosphere but with a wide variety of activities and stores. The annual Titanic Challenge Trail Run was my main attraction - stunning views!
Everything....food, quality of shops...felt safe...clean...friendly people....
Love all the shops and restaurants there is. Surrounded by mountains. Perfect breakaway for winter or summer.

Tranquil, beautiful little gem in the Free State

Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
