Die Kunshuis is a famous house where guests from all over the world visited to see the house covered in interesting and fabulous Christmas lights during the festive season from about 2002 up to 2015 when the owners decided to retire from their hobby and opened their house for guests.
James and Irene has a unique creative talent and decided to decorate their house and open it to the public to view and they also offered an tea garden for guests to enjoy some coffee and tea while wandering through the property.
By stepping into the house, you are walking into an unexpected world of art with antiques, hand crafted art pieces, fairy gardens, a koi pond, paintings, collective pieces and so much more. Truly out of this world.
Currently their house is made private and the tea garden was closed due to a big shopping mall which opened around the corner and only guests who books accommodation would have the privilege to view the interior which brings me to their latest edition to their house.
James built a spacious apartment semi-detached from the main house. The apartment features a full DSTV package, a comfortable lounge, kitchenette, a bathroom with a bath and 3 spacious bedrooms which sleeps maximum of 8 guests.
Guests are welcomed with a fresh fruit basket and coffee/ tea for the first night. The apartment is cleaned and fresh linen is supplied once a week for long stays.
