Waterberg Cottages is a family-orientated establishment and we have many activities to keep the kids occupied. these include our 15m heated solar pool, trampoline, children’s adventure village, and sand play areas.
We offer a range of marked walking trails where guests can enjoy relaxing walks in beautiful bush and stunning views, and a range of dams that guests are welcome to fish in. Other activities include Hippo viewing, donkey cart rides, horse riding at the world-famous Horizon Horseback Adventures.
Our rather rough tennis court is also great for letting off steam.

Windsong Cottage is lovely , we rested , swam , the kids rode horses, played tennis , and had an amazing star gazing night with Phil ( he knows so much) . It was so lovely to spend some downtime there and come back well rested .
Lovely get away, peace and quiet, loved it!
For dog lovers it is a great place! There are not many pet friendly places like this available. The facilities are good enough, quite as expected. Our only complaints are that the one kids room is a bit of a dungeon, but not bad and in the main bed the interleading room has very low door frames and wooden beams and I had a nasty bump at night. Daily cleaning would be good too. Our fridge took a long time to work and could have been switched on for us the day before. Otherwise a functional self catering house. Wifi not great.
We had a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful stay at Waterberg Cottage. Our hosts Jennifer, Terry, and Phil went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We loved the scenic beautiful farm and it's colorful Jacaranda trees in full bloom, friendly horses and farm dogs. We took our little doggie with and he had an awesome time too. The house we stayed in, had all the bells and whistles, shop on property, if we ran out of any groceries.
Awesome bushveld drive and experience, and great star gazing evening, will definitely be visiting again.

What we had in Vaalwater was amazing! Things that everyone wanna see but my wish is to visit one of the best Lodges in our area which is "Tshwene lodge".
I definitely recommend it, we had so much fun and enjoyed the swimming, fishing and walks around the lodge. Its clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back again.
My goodness! What a heavenly place! We booked Eagles Nest and it was everything as advertised and more. Gréât cycling and game driving. The view is just incredible from our beds. The house felt just like home - cosy, inviting, easy to live in. The night skies were magical. Sunrise and sunsets breath taking. Wonderful friendly staff. Thank you!!
