Fisherman's Watch Cottage - relax with a magnificent view across False Bay & Fish Hoek Bay. We are in the beautiful South Peninsula, just a short drive from Cape Town.
Situated on the Fish Hoek mountainside, it has spectacular views of the beach, sea and over the majestic mountains. Well away from busy traffic, the quiet peace of the site is only broken by the sound of the waves coming up from the sea below.
No Loadshedding! A full solar system provides complete off-the-grid back-up in the event of load shedding or power failure. You won't even notice when the lights go out in the valley!
The apartment has one bedroom, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a lounge and outdoor entertainment area. The apartment's magnificent position over Fish Hoek Bay is conveniently situated only a few minutes walk from the catwalk and safest beach in Cape Town.
The ideal launching point for a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Cape Peninsula, but still in easy driving distance of the City, the Wine Lands and, in season, the wildflowers! And in whale season, they come to visit you, often spending days in the bay below.
We regret that wheelchairs and persons who are unable to manage steps cannot be accepted. There are two straight forward flights of stairs but no mechanical alternative.

A lovely cottage for two people, with superb views over the Fish Hoek bay. We loved our stay here. The cottage was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely recommend this cottage to other visitors. You do need to be able to negotiate stairs if you stay here.
Excellent place to stay with a very friendly host. It is very clean and fully equipped with everything you will need for self catering, even an outdoor braai. Real pleasure to stay. Be aware if you have knee issues though, as there are several steps to access the apartment as it is located on a steep hillside. Very nice view of the bay, it is just a pity that a lot of it is obstructed by 2 huge trees in the garden.
The sea view from the cottage was to die for, beautiful place, will defnitely go back for another weekend.

George's apartment was fantastic and I had a really great stay. The accommodation was in perfect condition when I arrived and has all the appliances for a home away from home. The view was also spectacular. 10/10 recommend!
Clean. Amazing view. Just what we needed. Good exercise with all the steps we will be back in September. Good value for money.
