Rhodes Reviews
The scenic beauty of the area is spectacular. The road from Barkley East was quite bad in places, and it took a long time to travel, the town is almost empty of residents, with a "closed up" feeling. No coffee shops or restaurants available in town. It is a good birding destination for high altitude special species, but high clearance vehicle is necessary, and 4x4 is essential for travel along Naude's nek pass.
Amazing scenery. Naudes Nek was an awesome experience. Hours of dirt road getting in and out of Rhodes though - suggest 4x4 only.
