Situated halfway between White River and Hazyview (25 Km) on the R40 you will find us. The cottages are situated in a secure residential estate on the banks of the Da Gama Lake. The houses are all privately owned.
Within the estate there are wonderful walking trails.

In Room Facilities:

Fire Thorn Cottage: 2 x On-suite Bedrooms.(1xD+1x2 ¾ Beds). Smaller room( (2x ¾ beds ) to shares a bathroom with other bedrooms. Suitable for family or children. Outside room (2x ¾ beds ) has own bathroom with shower. Private Splash pool and Braai. 3 TV's with DSTV .Stunning views. Dishwasher. washing machine. TV in main bedroom and TV and DVD player in second bedroom and also a TV in the Lounge. The 2 main bedrooms are both en-suite and both have glass doors leading out onto the patio, giving the rooms a great view.
Sycamore and Coral Tree Cottages: does not have an outside room and only has one TV in the lounge. They do not have a dishwasher.

Both the houses have stunning views of the lake.

Area Information:

The small farming town of White River which lies between Mbombela (Nelspruit) and Hazyview is the new tourist hotspot for a delightful day trip.

This friendly community of artists, artisans and farmers will have you visually inspired and ready to sample their creative designs and fresh produce at any of the galleries, studios, craft markets, cafés and restaurants you find there. The high level of Kaolin (China clay) deposits gives the river that skirts the town its name. In Swazi it is known as Mhloppemanzi (which means white waters) and in Afrikaans, it is referred to as Witrivier

Property Facilities:

Open fireplace and TV in the lounge, full Digital Satellite TV for all the houses. All have built-in BBQ and a private splash pool on the deck. The modern, well-equipped kitchens have a large fridge/deep-freeze. The kitchens are fully equipped with cutlery and crockery. Fire Thorn Cottage has a dishwasher, Fire Thorn has 3 TV's and the other houses have 1 with full DSTV channels.

Attractions:

The most popular activities at the estate are hiking and fishing. No power boats are allowed on the water, which maintains the ambiance of peace and tranquility.
There are many activities available in the area, including open vehicle safaris, canopy tours, quad biking, river rafting, elephant interaction and many more. These need to be booked directly with the different operators who offer these activities. These activities are not on site.

Hazyview is like a four-way crossing, leading you to the famous Kruger National Park to enjoy wild life or to the Panorama to enjoy the beautiful scenic of nature(God's Window, Pot holes, Three Rondavels or Local entertainment like Graskop Gouge, Traditional dance and food at Shangana Cultural Village or adventures such as horse riding, quard biking, river rafting and many more.
