Welcome to African Relish - Deurdrift 1 Cottage.
African Relish Cottages provide more than just comfortable rooms. Beautiful, restored cottages with garden, kitchen, lounge and spacious en suite bathrooms typify Karoo living. All cottages are a minimum of 90 sq meters to allow comfortable, long term stays. Cottages are not on the same premises as the Cooking school, deli and restaurant.

It is a beautiful little town with good coffee, G & T's ( best ever at the local hotel) and friendly people.
The main road setting, restuarants, fleemarket, musuem. Cleanliness, Friendly People.
Lovely little gem of a town. Lots of things to do, eateries and little shops and galleries to visit. At the base of the most spectacular mountain pass in all Africa.
The charm and character of this town impressed me. The Karoo gardens are beautiful and there are interesting local products for sale. I recommend the book shop in Marlene's home.
Peace and quiet; feeling of safety; good clean air. We attended a wonderful photographic course with Louis Botha.
