Situated in the peaceful malaria-free Dinokeng reserve, visitors to Ngala lodge can enjoy sightings of the majestic Big 5.The Dinokeng Game Reserve is the first free-roaming Big 5 game reserve in Gauteng next to an urban area, and is just a short hour’s drive from OR Tambo International Airport. The unspoilt bush offers the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of contemporary life. Ngala Lodge is approximately 2600 ha of Pristine African Bush on the farm Pride of Africa. Home to an abundance of wildlife including a variety of Antelope, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion & Elephant.
In Room Facilities:Ngala Lodge comprises of 5 luxury rooms, each decorated in minimalistic contemporary style and are designed to ensure maximum ease and comfort. Each double room offers an en-suite bathroom and is suitable for two guests. Comfort and privacy are of utmost priority, and all rooms offer guests a tranquil and private space. Each room has its own TV and air conditioning. The main house has a swimming pool, dining room, an expansive veranda, television room, central braai and kitchen to be enjoyed by the guests.
Area Information:The land has witnessed a number of different cultures, which together form something of a melting pot of history. The Tswana, Pedi, Afrikaans, Ndebele, English and Tsonga-speaking people have all had significant effects upon the land and rolling grasslands of Dinokeng; and Anglo-Boer War blockhouses, battle sites, cemeteries and forts are all evidence of the conflicts that have left their mark.

The layout and positioning of the units at Ngala Lodge was amazing. We felt like we were right in the Bush. We even had a visit by some buck and a zebra. The food, hospitality and friendliness of the staff was amazing. What a wonderful experience and a location that we will gladly recommend

I enjoyed the self-game driving, though I only saw 2 of the Big 5's next time I'll use the Game Rangers drive... I also loved the picnic sighting the food there it's very nice and tasty...
