A luxury property with a sea view in Swakopmund, a coastal city in Namibia. Established by German colonists in 1892, means many people are still fluent in German. This beautiful, luxury property overlooks the beach and is in close proximity to the lighthouse and other tourist attractions. Rooms are all tastefully decorated for the guest who prefers a quality establishment. Three rooms are available with en-suite bathrooms and bed and breakfast comes standard, while other meals can be available on request.
Property Facilities:
Wi-Fi, maid service, parking, breakfast is standard but other meals can be requested.

Area Information:
Namibia is a desert country, dry, hot and dusty. The best place to be is at the coast, like Swakopmund which has a lighthouse and expansive white beaches meeting the cold Atlantic Ocean. The town has an enormous flock of flamingoes that come back each year to breed. Dredging the ocean for diamonds and mining still takes place in the desert but beware of illicit dealers or you will end up in jail. Many people are fluent in German, Afrikaans and English.

In Room Facilities:
Ceiling fan, coffee/tea-making facilities, colour television and satellite channels, converters/voltage adaptors, desk, hairdryer, maid service, minibar, separate tub and shower, bathrobe, sitting area, slippers, turn-down service, Wi-Fi,

Attractions:
The Swakopmund Lighthouse and the Mole, an old sea wall. Next to the lighthouse, the Swakopmund Museum documents Namibian history. Inland, the elegant Swakopmund Railway Station, now a hotel, also dates to the colonial era. Don't miss the beautiful sight of a multitude of flamingos that breed at and dominate the lake. Quad biking in the desert, Aquarium, Kristall Gallery, Museum. Beaches are ideal for long pre-dawn walks.
