Reviews
We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the cottage on a cold and rainy weekend in August. The cottages are very basic but their simplicity makes them child friendly and easy living. Some special touches made the stay memorable: a bottle of complimentary wine, a loaf of fresh bread, a gift voucher for a local restaurant, good quality linen and a generous supply of towels! There is no TV, and the wifi is unreliable...initially it was traumatic discovery, but in this beautiful setting, with so much to keep us busy in Franschoek, we did not miss them! Highly recommended accommodation, 5 minutes drive into town, 25 minute stroll along the farm roads, good value for money, we will definitely be back. 5 stars from us!

Franschhoek Reviews
Wine tasting trains and trams. Scenery and location.
The relaxed vibe...
Clean, feels safe and beautiful views and hikes.
The village vibe and how safe it is. Also, everyone can walk to where they want to go, instead of getting into a car every time.
Weather, shops, restaurants. Access to vineyards, trips, park run.
Holiday atmosphere without crowded chaos.
Wine farms, street cafes, Hussar's Restaurant, cleanliness.!
Beautiful area. So much good wine and food and great accom!
There are a vast variety of coffee shops and restaurants, the sky is the limit when it comes to satisfying your tummy.
What a fantastic experience on the Franschoek Wine Tram! 10 stars from us. Take some time to research which estates you would like to visit to choose the best route. We chose the Grey route and stopped at Franschoek Cellar, Leopards Leap and Rickety Bridge as these were all child friendly options. We will definitely be back without the kids ;) Also, great service and food at the River Café.
