JustFor2 is at Island Lake, bordering Wilderness national park and only a 2 minutes' drive to the Indian ocean with its splendid beaches.
There are 4 self-catering accommodation units: 2 luxury cottages, a cosy cottage and an en-suite apartment. All units are in a private and quiet setting.

JustFor2 offers 4 self-catering accommodation units: 2 upmarket cottages (Lourie and Kingfisher), a cosy cottage (Sunbird) and an en-suite apartment (Hoopoe).
The Kingfisher and the Lourie cottages are 2 identical newly build units. Both are luxury, spacious and freestanding and come with a King size bed, a kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside there is a large covered private deck where you can relax and enjoy the splendid views of Island lake and the Outeniqua mountains.
The cosy Sunbird cottage offers an enjoyable and comfortable stay for 2. It is a private freestanding unit and comes with a king size bed. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, 2-plate cooker, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle and the usual utensils. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower and toilet. On the deck you can enjoy the panoramic view of Island Lake and the Outeniqua mountains. A perfect spot to relax and have a glass of wine while watching the sunset.
The large en-suite Hoopoe apartment is for 2 persons, comes with a King size bed and has a full bathroom (shower and bath). It is on ground level with a private entrance. The apartment is self catering and equipped with a 2-plate cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. Outside you have private sitting areas, where you can relax, enjoy the garden and the bird life and have a braai.
Area Information:Wilderness is a charming holiday village. With its long golden beaches, extensive waterways and lush indigenous forest, it is a nature lover's paradise. Wilderness lies 15 km east of George, nestled between the Outeniqua Mountains and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and is an ideal base from which to explore the world-famous Garden Route.
As far back as the late 1800s the reputation of Wilderness was established as an ideal destination for seaside holidays.
The winter climate is splendid with sunny days and temperatures that rarely drop below 8 Degrees C. The annual rainfall averages around 700mm, spread all year round, meaning that the winters are as warm and sunny as the summertime. The balmy weather creates an outdoor style of living that draws locals and visitors alike to the long stretches of sandy white beaches throughout the year.
Should you wish to venture off the beach, there is a wide variety of eateries, craft stalls, shops and art galleries to explore. Wander through the quiet forest where giant Yellowwood trees rise towards the skyline, follow Bushbuck and Duiker along quiet forest paths or watch out for the brilliant flash of crimson as a Knysna Lourie is startled from its resting place.

Surrounding Wilderness is Knysna, George, Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay. George is only 15km west of Wilderness, Knysna about 25km from Wilderness on the N2 a beautiful 40-minute drive through the Garden Route's "Lake District". Mossel Bay is 70km from Wilderness, along the shore of the Indian Ocean with attractions like the Diaz museum, Seal Island where the notorious great white sharks hang out and even a casino for the brave at heart.
There is also the traditional Sedgefield farmers' market (Saturdays), Big Tree inside the Wilderness Nature Reserve, the Swartvlei estuary.
Near Knysna you can visit the Knysna Forest, a number of Game Farms, go whale watching and enjoy oyster cuisine at restaurants overlooking the Knysna Heads.
The Garden Route is the golfing Mecca of South Africa hosting some of the world’s most stunning and renowned, but still affordable, golf courses.

Wilderness offers a wide variety of activities for all ages with an abundance of hiking trails, canoe offerings and paragliding available, whilst being surrounded by some of the most pristine beaches our country has to offer. If you love nature and adventure, Wilderness is your playground. For daytrips, you have the option of visiting neighbouring areas including George, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg. This is definitely a home away from home.
