Area Information:

Marloth Park, set in the beautiful bushveld of Mpumalanga South Africa - close to nature, the Crocodile river, animals and exquisite birdlife, this is serenity at its best. Clear open skies at night provide the perfect backdrop for amazing stargazing - unspoilt under the African skies.

Neatly placed between Komatipoort and Malelane, Marloth Park is only 30kms from the border into Mozambique, and only 20kms from the Crocodile entrance into the Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is separated from the Kruger by the Crocodile River and walking along the river visitors can easily spot wildlife. Zebra, kudu, giraffe, wildebeest, warthog and other small animals roam freely around the park.

Marloth Park provides the perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful holiday experience filled with many great outdoor activities. Game viewing is best done during the autumn and winter months as the bushveld is less dense making game-spotting easier.

There are shops/markets nearby providing amenities for those in the area, including a restaurant, bakery, laundry, petrol station and deli.

Great place to stay. Fantastic viewing platform with a great view of crocodile river (and the resident hippos!) and comfortable house. An easy 20 mins to Crocodile Bridge, Kruger gate. Pool is overlooked by the road, but we didn't find that too annoying. The only constructive feedback I can give, is that I wish there was a shelter at the viewing platform, as at the moment there is no protection from sun or rain (and we would have liked to spend hours up there). Would stay again.

"A tall deck with a view of the Crocodile River and Kruger, AC, maid and gardening services, friendly and helpful hosts, and a container of home-made rusks. We loved our stay and will be back!"

"We all really enjoyed the weekend. The house is very well positioned. The best of all is the viewing deck. Absolutely fabulous. We would go back just for that. Pool was lovely. Accommodation was very comfortable. The outside area is great when the sun shines. The animals coming to feed right by you was something special. Trudy and Colin really go out of their way to make you welcome. We will definitely make a plan to go back again."

The feeling that you're one with nature, is exactly what a tired soul needs. The park has everything a person require, from personal stuff to juice for your motorcar.
