The house has four en-suite bedrooms, each with their own entrance and private patio areas. The house is fully equipped and serviced daily. Braai/potjie facilities are available and there is a double carport as well as additional off street parking. A large wood burning fireplace in the lounge and underfloor heating in all rooms will keep you warm and cosy on the coldest winter night.

Area Information:Clarens is a small town situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in the Free State province of South Africa and nicknamed the "Jewel of the Eastern Free State". It was established in 1912 and named after the town of Clarens in Switzerland where exiled Paul Kruger spent his last days. It is situated 336 km from Johannesburg, 284 km from Bloemfontein, 389 km from Durban.

This house is lovely! And well-equipped electric blankets and under-floor heating were especially appreciated in the cold! House Keeping was very efficient. They have thought of everything! Bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries; the kitchen is well stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and the works. We loved our stay!
This is great accommodation for a bigger group or family in Clarence and the standard of the house finishes and amenities are top class. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the environment thoroughly.

Variety
Main roads to town are recommended for daylight use only. Small town atmosphere but with a wide variety of activities and stores. The annual Titanic Challenge Trail Run was my main attraction - stunning views!

Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
