Welcome to Seaview Homes at Baleia Vista, a secluded, private lodge situated on the first row of forested dunes in an indigenous coastal forest. The two houses are about 300 meters apart in the tranquil Baleia Vista resort. This resort does not cater for the elderly or infirm as there is lots of walking to and from parking area to houses to restaurant / pool.
In Room Facilities:The houses are privately owned, air conditioned, seafront, wooden house located within the Baleia Vista complex. The house features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a cleaning service is available daily. The kitchen is complete with everything you would need for self-catering and the house is also equipped with a flat screen TV with satellite dish but bring your own decoder. The complex has a lovely pool with conference facilities, a restaurant and bar with pay as you go WIFI.
Area Information:Close to where the South African and Mozambican borders meet. The two houses are about 300 meters apart in the tranquil Baleia Vista resort.

Accessable only by 4x4's ...These are very popular destinations for South Africans as the drive is not that long, very comfortable (mainly South African roads - no potholes) and has some excellent variety of diving reefs to choose from.
If you are a diving or fishing enthusiast ... then this is a perfect destination to spend your holiday. Go spend some time exploring the corals and depths of warm Indian Ocean and witness Zambezi sharks, hammerheads, potatoe bass and the many beautiful coral fish that inhabit the reefs. Boasting a wide variety of reefs (including a many shallow reefs) ... you cannot be more spoilt!
Even if you are not below the waters ... dolphins, Whale Sharks and turtles can be spotted.

Nice food and vibe
Very run down, hard to find decent food.
But the beaches are amazing, most resorts have taken a toll, but the vibe makes up for it 100 times over..

Worst experience of my life. We were told that our Vw tiguan Rline with 20 inch rims wouldnt have a problem getting to her place. There were 2 ways to get there. We got stuck in the sand on the 1st attempt, thank God for the helpful locals. Erna Smith didnt even answer her phone when we told we were stuck. We pleaded with her to atleast refund us 50% of the the total amount she requested upfront and paid in full 3 weeks earlier as she insisted. But she eventually rocked up at Melting pot restaurant where we told we were waiting. We eventually got a hold of her and said she will meet us melting pot. She arrived fuming and asked her to follow to another way in. We again got stuck and she even tried driving my vehicle out but failed. Again the locals came to the rescue. We pleaded with her to refund us atleast 50% so we could book a place that we could atleast drive to. But she said she is broke and will give us the 50% in 2 months time, which we knew was a lie. We asked her to follow us to the police station to get this sorted out. She said she had friends in the police station and she didnt care and we must follow her to the police. But she chickened out and left us to go find another place. We were left stranded with 3 kids in a car for hours at each point. She was rude and really inhumane. Thankful for Tri M wild waves who watched everything and made us and kids very comfortable. Won't want to visit again due to this ill treatment .
The beach is awesome. The people are so friendly.
