Welcome to David's Cottage.
David's Cottage is a well-equipped house situated on a working sheep farm. Apart from being a sheep farm, we also offer game viewings, such as springbok, swart wildebeest, eland, alpaca, zebra.
The Cottage is equipped for 8 people and has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, all en-suite. 2 rooms have a queen-size bed each and the other 2 rooms has 2 twin beds each. 3 Bathrooms consists of a shower, basin and toilet, while the 4th bathroom has a bath, shower, basin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a 4 plate counter top gas-electric stove and an electric oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle as well as a kettle for gas plate ( in case of loadshedding, dishwasher and fridge-freezer.
The entertainment area has an indoor braai with a dining room table and 8 chairs. An outside braai is also available.
We have farm water, which is perfectly drinkable, but if you have a sensitive stomach, please bring bottled water.
Sitting on the patio, you can experience the most beautiful sunsets over the Gourits River and the mountain tops of the Langeberge, whilst listening to the rumble of the ocean, only 6 km away. If you are tired of braaiing and your own cooking, there are plenty of farm restaurants around which serve good hearty boerekos.
Activities in the area include various fishing and picnic spots, 4x4 dune driving, game viewing, aloe farming and gin- and wine tasting, to mention just a few.
