Clean and neat - excellent view. Peaceful!!
If you want to see a beautiful part of the Cape and have a gorgeous experience, take some time out and book in at Mallowdeen Self Catering in Robertson. The farm itself is absolutely beautiful from the time you ride through the gates. The gardens are so well maintained full of trees and flowers, the cottages are gorgeous, and the exclusive use of the pool and lapa area just makes it so special. You are welcomed by the hosts Jana and Johan and nothing is too much trouble for them. The prices paid make it very obvious that this is not for the money but for people to enjoy their little piece of heaven and the town, which itself is just as pretty with lots of little shops. Anyone with a love for birds or animals must definitely also visit Birds of Paradise. It may have been our visit to Mallowdeen but it absolutely won't be our last.
Ons het baie lekker gekuier die naweek. Die huisie en tuin was baie netjies en gerieflik. Sal verseker weer daar wil gaan besoek afle.
Awesome little place with a nice pool and lapa area for use to braai & entertain. Clean & comfortable with nice gardens & close to many top wine farms in the area.
Peaceful little gem of a place with a very nice swimming pool, beautiful gardens in a quiet surrounding and mountain view. Clean, friendly hosts and perfect for couples getaway.

Robertson Reviews
The natural beauty. Pies from Affie Plaas.
Hiking trails and restaurants.
Plenty to do. Abundance of wine farms. Beautiful views.
Quaint little town. Friendly people. Lots to do.
Ek is gebore en getoeë van Robertson. Dit sal altyd my hartsplekkie wees. Was aangenaam verras om Die Laaitjie op jul webtuiste te sien. Dit was oorspronklik my oorlede pa se suster en haar man se plaas. My pa het op die aangrensende plaas geboer. Ek en my broers het saam met die neefs Die Laaitjie plat gespeel. Die waterval was daardie jare al 'n groot aantrekkingskrag vir kuiergaste. Oujaarsaande is groot makietie hier gehou. Selfs die dorps inwoners het kom meedoen. Dankie vir die mooi fotos. Ek kon so bietjie in my kinderskoene terug stap.
Robertson is really a gem in the Cape Winelands, great wine tasting and dining (Christina's @ Van Loveren, Bourbon Street, Four Cousins, Excelsior) experience all in an authentic environment. A short drive from CT, ideal for a relaxing weekend at a small town pace, to recharge your batteries.
