Owl Spot ... A little piece of paradise in the heart of Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve only 45km north of Pretoria.
We want you to experience the night sounds of the bush, listening to the campfire crackle while a hyena call pierces the silence in the distance. We want you to experience the spike of adrenaline as you look a lion in the eye for the first time and feel the ground beneath your feet as you gaze up at the night sky.

In Room Facilities:We have a wide variety of facilities, each chalet designed for guests either looking for a family getaway or a romantic retreat.
Area Information:There is a place in Africa where wild animals still roam freely. Where the great tuskers still tramp their ancient pathways through indigenous forest and tall yellow grass. This is Dinokeng Game Reserve, a 22-500-hectare unspoiled wilderness in northern Gauteng.
The rest of the Big Five also find their home here – lion, leopard, black and white rhino, buffalo, and more than 360 bird species.
Property Facilities:Private and luxurious accommodation surrounded by beautiful bushveld. Waterhole just outside the fence where any animals can come by and spend their time at Owl Spot.

The Owl Spot is absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle this is it.

A very tidy and clean cottage at a water hole. Ìt has no TV... so game viewing is a must.
We were unable to make a fire because of the wind. Some board games would be a nice alternative in the winter.

I recently had a stay at Owl spot which was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and family. From the moment we arrived we started to relax and became 1 with nature. The kitchen was fully stocked and all necessary items were clean. It was most enjoyable being met by the owner who went out of her way to arrange a game drive for us. Thank you so much...

I enjoyed the self-game driving, though I only saw 2 of the Big 5's next time I'll use the Game Rangers drive... I also loved the picnic sighting the food there it's very nice and tasty...
Very clean and excellent availability of all needed, restaurants, food etc.
