Area Information:

Marloth Park is a wildlife area as close to Kruger Park as you can get. We are separated from the park only by the Crocodile River and a small fence. Marloth Park is home to many wild animals such as zebras, kudu, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, mongoose, leopard(!) and once in a while the odd lion. During the day the area is perfect for walks along the river, or just exploring the bush. After sundown, it is no longer a good idea to go for walks. While we encourage everyone to enjoy the bush, we also ask you kindly to respect the fact that this is a wildlife area and animals have the right of way: no speeding, no littering, no loud parties. Marloth Park has two small shopping centres where the essentials are sold, a petrol station, a small café and a restaurant. For bigger needs Komatipoort and Malelane supermarkets are just close by. Marloth Park has two entrances which are both guarded. There are a couple of very good restaurants in Marloth Park, some hidden in the bush, where you can enjoy meals or sundowners.

What a lovely stay. Enjoyed the restaurants around and what lovely food. The area is so peaceful and sultry. Coming back again I must say.

Nice and quiet, with game walking around the area.
We saw Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe and Wildebeest.
A short drive of 3 minutes takes you to the Olifants river where you can watch all animals going down to the river to drink.
Its also only 17km from Olifants Gate at Komatipoort to go into the Kruger Park.
