Rose Apple Cottage is situated in Greyton, a beautiful country village nestled in the mountains. The owners recently renovated their holiday house creating a beautifully sectioned part of the house for weekend rentals. You will have complete privacy and full use of the garden. The owners rarely use the property.

This is a lovely compact weekend home perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a couple with 2 children (up to 12 years of age only).

Rose Apple Cottage consists of one luxurious double bedroom with a queen bed, terracotta tiled floors, built in cupboards and draws, ceiling fans for summer, heating panels for winter, a large mirror and an area for working if you need to keep in touch with the office. This room opens up onto a patio and large manicured garden. The bedroom has a luxury en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin, heated towel rail and a bidet.

The kitchen and lounge are open plan. The kitchen consists of a microwave, electric frying pan, (no hob or oven), kettle, toaster, cutlery/crockery, built in Weber braai that doubles as an open fire-place (please bring your own wood and fire lighters) and a small fridge.

The lounge has two wooden sofas that open up into sofa beds, limited Compact DSTV, a flat screen TV with USB and HDMI facility, a DVD player and an oil heater. The large sliding, concertina doors open up onto a beautifully landscaped garden with magnificent views of Abduls Kop Mountain. A 6-seater iron outside table and chairs is provided for you, ideal for braai’s and afternoon sundowners. There are many rose bushes and plants and the garden is very well kept.

The property has an alarm, Trelidoors and off street parking only.

Relaxed and quaint village with lots of outdoor activities, hiking, walking and mountain biking, birding or just strolling around the village or nature reserve.

Walking around town was very peaceful. I would love to do a trail walk on our next trip.

Greyton is a small, quaint and quiet village with lots to see and offer. A good selection of restaurants offering a range of cuisine options, coffee shops, galleries, Garden Centre, plus Greyton is ideal for outdoor adventures and adventurers. Many hiking and cycling trails, all marked and mapped, for the beginner to the advanced. An hour and a half from Cape Town, so an easy, beautiful drive, through the Overberg farmlands.
