Cabana 1 (sleeps 2) Air Conditioned Open plan layout with a Queen bed, cupboard space and ceiling fan. En-suite Shower, basin and toilet, Bath Towels, Hairdryer, Open plan Lounge area with lounge suite, TV with basic DSTV package, A full kitchen with Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Refrigerator/Freezer and dishwasher, stove and Oven. All cutlery and crockery provided. There is a Covered veranda with lounge seating, an outdoor dining area overlooking pool area and views of the mountains.

Cabana 3 (sleeps 2 adults and 2 children under 16 years of age) An open plan layout, with a Queen bed, cupboard space and ceiling fan. En-suite Bathroom facilities with shower and bath, Bath Towels, Hairdryer, Lounge area with lounge suite, TV with basic DSTV package, full kitchen with Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Refrigerator/Freezer and dishwasher. 2nd bedroom has a Bunk bed which sleeps 2 children. Includes a private en-suite bathroom with shower. Covered veranda with seating, dining area overlooking pool area and views of the mountains.
Cabana 4 (sleeps 2 adults and 2 children under 15 years of age) Open plan layout, with a Queen bed in a private room with air conditioner, cupboard space and ceiling fan. En-suite Bathroom facilities with walk in shower, Please note this bathroom is shared with the children. Children beds are stack beds and situated in the open plan lounge area. There is Bath Towels, Hairdryer, Lounge area with lounge suite, DSTV with Basic package, A full kitchen with Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Refrigerator/Freezer and dishwasher. Covered veranda with seating, dining area and a private braai. No view, situated close to parking and Entrance area. Pool and communal barbeque areas have mountain views and is close and can be utilized at any time
Cabana 5, Situated on the first floor with a stairs leading up to a balcony with breathtaking views of the river, the bridge and some sea view, Cabana 5 offers a luxurious open plan kitchen and lounge area with private Queen bedroom with ensuite full bathroom.
This Cabana features a spacious covered veranda with comfortable seating and spectacular views of the bridge and river as well as panoramic views of the mountain and property.
Inside is a full kitchen with stove, oven, Microwave, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher. There is also pots and pans as well as all cutlery and crockery with bowls and more.
Enjoy a morning coffee or breakfast at the kitchen island which has seating for 2 and offers more views. Alternatively, all this can be enjoyed on the outdoor veranda lounge or at the small table and chairs provided.
This is a luxury suite and is our only Cabana which has a full DSTV. Undercover parking for this Cabana is also available on request
Port Edward is small resort town situated on the South Coast of KZN, There are many places of interest, Be it hiking, waterskiing, jet skiing, mountain and quad biking trails, horse trials, river cruises, fishing, whale watching. It is all available within close proximity to Umtamvuna View Cabanas. For Scuba diving enthusiasts, there is the St John For (San Joao) shipwreck which went down in 1552 and is 300 meters from the beach and is the earliest known shipwreck on the KZN Coast. Port Edward is also known for its flawless and golden beaches that are protected for swimmers. Other points of interest is the, Umtamvuna Nature reserve, The famous Red Desert, Wild Coast Casino and the Umtamvuna river. The Umtamvuna river forms the border between Kwazulu Natal and the Eastern Cape where the last 40kms of this river to the sea goes through what is arguably the most stunning gorge in South Africa
