A RIVER FLOWS BY IT.......
If you love sunsets, star gazing, swimming & sun, cycling, chilling, braaing & being in the bush, birdwatching, fishing & floating, then the self-catering Full Circle Cottage is your break away spot.
Full Circle Cottage is situated on a smallholding on the banks of the beautiful Bushman’s River (Boesmansrivier). Full Circle is surrounded by game reserves and is 16 km by road from Kenton-on-Sea and is part of the magnificent Sunshine Coast
ONCE UPON A TIDE.......
Full Circle has 300 meters of tidal river frontage which is a short walk away from the Cottage. The Deck and Jetty at the river is an idyllic spot from which to take in the magnificence of the Bushman’s River which is the second longest tidal river in South Africa. The river is currently navigable and tidal for approximately 31 km. Full Circle is approximately 13 km by river from the Bushman’s River Mouth (Boesmansriviermond). Kob, Grunter and Leerie are the most common fish caught at the Jetty.
THE COTTAGE……
The self-catering solar powered Cottage offers all the basics needed for a cosy comfortable stay while you explore and enjoy the activities on offer. The 2 bedrooms each have 2 single beds, and a fan and share a small bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The open-plan living area incorporates a kitchenette, a dining area, a TV (DStv Explora) and a lounge that leads out onto a deck which has wonderful views of the river and the surrounding bushveld. Air conditioner in the lounge and 1 bedroom (due to solar power only one can be used at a time)

Potjie Pot
Flat cast iron Bread Pot
Cutlery & Crockery
Tea/coffee/long-life milk and sugar
Portable braai outside on the deck.
RIVER EXCURSIONS……
Boat cruises or river-fishing excursions can be arranged at an additional cost or guests may bring their own boats. Should you wish to bring your own boat please notify your host. Guest are advised to pre-book boat excursions to avoid disappointment. Availability of a skipper, the time of the tide and the weather all influence boat excursions. T&Cs apply.
WALKS AND CYCLING……
There is a short scenic walking trail which meanders through the property. For a longer walk, there is the option to walk to and along the gravel district road which can provide some interesting sights, or explore the many hiking trials in the area.
Cyclists can leave from Full Circle and explore many of the scenic roads in the area. Ask your host for more information on various routes.
There is some sports equipment Guests are welcome to use (a canoe, a paddle ski and a SUP).
PET FRIENDLY BY ARRANGEMENT……
Well behaved Pets are welcome by arrangement at an additional cost and provided their owners agree to the Pet Policy. T&Cs apply.
The Hosts live on site with their dogs (the dogs are enclosed). Your Hosts respect your privacy and are on-hand to offer assistance when
requested.
ACCESS ROAD
About 6 km of the road to Full Circle Cottage is a gravel road that can be very slippery when wet. The condition of the gravel road can vary depending on how recently we have had rain and when last it was graded. Most times the road is accessible in Sedan vehicles.
