Lion's Lair, sleeping 13 guests, is situated next to the Crocodile River within the quiet beauty of Marloth Park. It is the ideal bushveld getaway to nature-loving groups visiting this scenic part of Mpumalanga. Lion's Lair is extremely private, as it is situated in the middle of 4 stands, adjoining a municipal parkland. The waterhole is situated in view of the pool and lounge area. A birders paradise. Rare buck species such as njala, shy animals such as duiker, bush babies and large spotted genets visit the Lair often.
Property Facilities:
Every unit is fully air-conditioned and has ceiling fans as well. There is a communal swimming pool, water-hole and boma, DStv full package, modern kitchen, fully equipped for 15 guests. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS AS WE DO NOT SUPPLY TOWELS. Rate includes entire camp and facilities. Lion's Lair is extremely private, as it is situated in the middle of 4 stands, adjoining a municipal parkland. The waterhole is situated in view of the pool and lounge area. A birders paradise. Rare buck species such as njala, shy animals such as duiker, bush babies and large spotted genets visit the Lair often. Please arm alarm every time when leaving the Lair for security reasons. Daily cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.

Area Information:
Please note, No more guests than 13 people allowed at any time at the Lair and no music. A Peace officer will visit the lair to explain the rules of the park. The lair my not be used for a gathering at all even if the other guests booked another establishment as well. No pets are allowed.

In Room Facilities:
This private and secluded lodge includes 4 en-suite, comfortably furnished units. The first unit has one single bed and one double bed, while the second unit has 4 bunk beds. The third unit has one single bed and one double bed, and the fourth unit has one three-quarter bed and one double bed.

Nice and quiet, with game walking around the area.
We saw Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe and Wildebeest.
A short drive of 3 minutes takes you to the Olifants river where you can watch all animals going down to the river to drink.
Its also only 17km from Olifants Gate at Komatipoort to go into the Kruger Park.
