Blombosch Farmhouse is the perfect getaway destination for family or friends. The house sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms (a double room, twin room and room with 2 double bunks). Ideal for two families, one large family or groups of friends looking for farm accommodation that is not too far from Yzerfontein. House is run on gas and solar power
Fully equipped self catering kitchen with inside braai area (all grids included)A full size fridge, oven, stove, kettle.
2 bathrooms with toilet and shower.Please note: Bedding and towels are included but bring along your own beach towels.
There are 2 rustic Fisherman Cottages. Cottage 1 & Cottage 2 available, close in proximity to one another but secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Cape natural bush.
Fisherman’s Cottage 1 has – 1 x Bedroom with two single beds and one single bunk bed in the living area.1 x Bathroom – Bath and Basin Only (No Shower)
Fisherman’s Cottage 2 has – 1 x Bedroom with two single beds and one single bed in the living area. 1 x Bathroom – Bath and Basin Only (No Shower) Kitchen with a small bar fridge, two plate stove and basics with inside and outside braai areas.The outside area has comfy bench seating and very nice outside braai area (under cover).
Pet Friendly : R100 Pet levy per dog per stay.Please note:No electricity. Only gas and solar power are available. Bedding and bath towels provided. Wood can be arranged via email at R100 per 50 pieces pre booking. Beautiful setting. Stargazing at night is stunning!

LUMBERJACK COTTAGE: The Lumberjack Cottage is a rustic cottage on Blombosch Farm just 5Km outside Yzerfontein. The Lumberjack cottage has: 2 x Bedrooms, 2 single beds in each,1 x Bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.Spacious living area.Kitchen with a combination fridge/freezer, two plate stove and basics with a cozy fireplace inside.The outside area has comfy bench seating and very nice outside braai area (under cover)
Pet Friendly : R100 Pet levy per dog per stay, this unit has a fenced in garden.Please note:
No electricity. Only gas and solar power are available. there is however a plug point for charging phones etc .Please note no amplifiers , ice machines, electric kettles , hair dryers or ice machines to be brought on site, these appliances burn the solar power system out.
The generator will be switched on between 18h00 and 23h00. There will be fee of R150p/h charged outside of these hours.
Our fridges, geyser and stove all operate on gas .

Our 4×4 route (Level1-2, 13.5 km ) offers guests and day-visitors an opportunity to test their offroad skills and enjoy a relaxed braai in the veld, at the halfway rest area called ‘Aap se Gat’.Access is free to our overnight guests and will cost day-visitors R200 per vehicle.
Check in is 2pm-6pm and check out is 10 am , early check in or late check out can be arranged with Kate if done so prior to arrival via email and a R250 fee will be charged.
Guests will be sent the gate code as well as their on- site contact the day before check in via Whatsapp.

Excellent choice of house for our dogs . On our side house had everything that we needed . Last day we had a lot of flies from early morning but it is a working farm . Horses , Zebra & SA Buffalo right at our fence .
Staff extremely helpful .
We loved every single minute from the time we arrived till the time we left. It is far enough from CT to get away for the weekend (1 hour's drive) and not far to drive. The peace and quiet and simplicity is what we loved. The Jaghuis Cottage had everything we needed and 3 fire places for all types of weather :-)
Herman was super helpful - always checked in to make sure we were happy and had all that we needed. Thank you to Beverley for all your kind help with the booking and all the information we needed to enjoy our time at Blombosch.
We had a fabulous time. perfect for a smallish family or friends get together.
The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the birdlife, seeing zebra, buffalo and buck, the peaceful, bush environment and friendly, helpful staff. will go again any time.

The Boutique Spa (Maki-Saki) in Yzerfontein offers so much to its clients. Beautiful accommodation with jacuzzi, heated pool and oh yes, don't forget the beauty treatments that you can book. A definite bucket list stay for all!.
