Location is amazing and it felt like we were right on the beach with the views and glass doors. The apartment has everything you need, the only downfalls were that it could have been a little cleaner (beds were sparkling but glasses and plates etc were dirty as well as the outside furniture) and there were many, many stairs to climb (8 flights to be exact from the downstairs parking). There is a lift but you still have to climb 4 flights to get to it, which my elderly mom did struggle with a little. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others as it was amazing to sit on the balcony and have that view which is the reason we all go to the beach:)

Umdloti has very conveniently located magnificent stretches of pristine golden beaches with shark nets, clear water, large safe tidal pool, delightful paved walks beside the sea and outstanding restaurants like Mundo Vida with sea views. Simple open air changing rooms like those seen on European beaches would be an improvement.
