Imbabali Retreat & Venue  Verified Listing

Imbabali Retreat and Venue offer Three individual cottages, each sleeping up to five people in two bedrooms with one bathroom. A maximum of fifteen guests between the three cottages and beds are made up as required. There are no TVs, but free Wi-Fi is available.

All three of our cottages are identical but may vary in colour and décor.

Wild Olive Chalet sleeps four people in two bedrooms with two bathrooms.

Grapevine House is a double storey house that sleeps eight people in four bedrooms with three bathrooms, two ensuite. Extra beds can be made up on request.

The Cottages are fully equipped for self-catering with open plan lounge, dining area & kitchenette with a small bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 plate stove, all cutlery & crockery, and your own braai area. Our cottages are serviced daily by our friendly staff so you can kick back and relax. Secure parking with a double shade port is at the back of the cottage. All cottages have a patio with a cold plunge pool.

Wild Olive Chalet is a fully equipped self-catering facility with open plan lounge, dining area & kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, full gas oven, all cutlery & crockery, and your own braai area situated on a large patio under a magnificent olive tree. A TV, Netflix and full DSTV is included. Our chalet is serviced daily, and secure parking is available for all guests.

Grapevine House is a fully equipped self-catering facility with an open plan lounge and fireplace, dining area & kitchen with a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, double eye level oven, gas stove, all cutlery & crockery, and your own braai area. TV, Netflix and full DSTV is included. The house is serviced daily, and secure parking is available for all guests.

A hearty breakfast at an additional charge is served to guests staying in our accommodation and must be ordered in advance.

Candles, incense or smoking is NOT permitted inside any of our accommodation or enclosed areas. Smoking is permitted outside. We have a strict No Music, No Parties and No Visitors Policy.

Imbabali Retreat & Venue is in close proximity to most restaurants, arts & crafts, and activities such as BreedtsNek for the avid cyclist, hiking trails, quad biking, horse riding, zip lining, clay pigeon shooting, archery, game drives, and so much more… A comprehensive list with contact details is available in our accommodation.

We offer fishing (Bass, Carp, Tilapia and Yellow) on a catch and release basis. You will need to bring your own bait and tackle. You can swim in the dam or float on a tube, try your hand on a kayak or canoe and there are Jungle Gyms for the kiddies. You can choose to enjoy the private plunge pool on the patio if you are staying in a cottage, have a braai or enjoy the swimming pool at The Venue, or table tennis, pool or darts. A choice of mobile SPA’s treat you to the pampering of your desire in the privacy of your accommodation or in our secluded gardens. Have a picnic at the dam, in our manicured gardens or take a short walk to the river. Our picnic baskets are made up for two people and must be ordered at least three days prior to arrival.

Get those hiking shoes on and enjoy a 4km hike through the bush and along the river.

A large sparkling pool at The Venue is a delightful feature for our guests to enjoy.

Our accommodation boasts a magnificent view of the Magaliesberg Mountains & two small dams which offer fishing on a catch and release basis (Tilapia, Bass, Carp and Yellow). You will need to bring your own tackle and bait. It is a tranquil environment, perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all! As the sun sets you often hear the Jackal calling and the fireflies dancing in the summer evenings.

Charcoal, wood, firelighters, matches, refreshments, ice cream, snacks and ice are on sale at The Venue. A fully licensed restaurant with braai menu is open from Friday to Sunday. Cash bar is available for any refreshments throughout your stay.

The Venue is available to host Conferences, Meetings, Functions, Weddings, Team Building and more… in a relaxed environment under thatch. Booking is essential.

We have big and small dogs that roam freely on the whole property and will come and say "hello". All we ask is that you treat our dogs and other animals with respect and please do not feed them.
