Buffelsvlei is a privately owned game farm stretching over 1400 hectares in the pristine Limpopo Bushveld. While at Buffelsvlei our guests can relax while enjoying nature and forget about the hustle, bustle and stress of the city. Here you can forget about the world and just unwind.

Buffelsvlei has 4 fully airconditioned en-suite Chalets with a large fully equipped kitchen, bar and living area. Each chalet is decorated with an African feel and has an on-suite bathroom with a shower. The camp is self-catering. It is rented out on a per group basis only and the lodge must be rented as a whole. We accommodate 12 guests at a time.

The communal kitchen & dining area is fully equipped and overlooks the garden and swimming pool. Next to the kitchen is a braai boma built out of rocks found on the farm. This area is ideal for you to relax in the winter next to a beautiful bushveld fire and is usually the area to congregate and enjoy a braai in the evenings. The boma is adjacent to the self service bar.

The lovely Sleeper Wood Bar area is fitted with a flat screen TV with full DStv. The kids can enjoy a movie, while the adults have a conversation under the stars around the fire pit.

All our facilities are thatch roofed and open plan. We want you to feel part of nature and the bush when you come to our lodge. We have limited cell phone reception, we are 120 km from the closest town and have no main roads passing us. It is quiet and peaceful.

We offer Self Drive Game Drives where you could see the likes of Sable, Buffalo and Giraffe to name a few. There are also 4 watering holes with blinds, that can be used for the photographic enthusiast or just to see the animals from up close. Please book this prior to arrival.

Great place to relax. Friendly hosts and great value for money. The Lodge sleeps 12 guests and we were the only people in the lodge, just our family group. Very private.

It is a little town but it has everything that you need in the shopping centre.
The Marekele Game reserve has the Big 5 and is not as busy as the other National Parks. The main road is busy being widened.

Not bad, just a small town with a lot of people.
