Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, immediately off the main road to Cape Point. The world famous Boulders Penguin Colony is a 5 minute walk away and three beautiful, secluded beaches with safe swimming are across the road. Windmill Beach is a short stroll across the Simon's Town Golf Course. Leave your car safely parked behind remote controlled gates and enjoy your day without traffic stress ! Cape Point is a 24km drive along the coastal road with magnificent scenery. Visit the Ostrich Farm and the new Cape Point Reptile Rehabilitation Centre situated in the same venue.
Explore historic Simon's Town with so much to do and see and great restaurants and coffee shops. We have brochures available on all activities.
We have two Cape Porcupine friends who come and visit just about every night and enjoy a snack on the terrace. The couple usually come separately but we've been lucky enough to see both at the same time. They seem like a very happy couple. Mrs Porcupine takes a carrot home to the family but Porky finishes all the food that's there. Our resident penguins were relocated to Boulders after a few years of living here. I've added their photos for you to see.

It really is a must see town, there is a scratch patch with the most beautiful stones. Boulders beach is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the penguins and plenty of shops to browse, plus a very nice yacht club with plenty of spots to choose from to grab something to eat.

All the wonderful things to see and do!! We stayed at Boulders Beach Lodge where, from the deck, we saw penguins walking in the car park!! Really awesome stuff!!! Boulders Penguin Colony is something else. Do yourself a favour and get there!

Then there's the Jubilee Square Craft Market and the Harbour (we liked Fran's Place and her story), we visited the Toy Museum, danced to live music at 2 and 6 Pence, enjoyed the elegance of the Lord Nelson Inn where we had pizza and watched the Champions League final, spent a laid back afternoon sitting at the Black Marlin having wine and oysters and just watching the boats down below and then views, views and more views!! Absolutely breathtaking!

We'll be coming back to camp at Smitswinkel Bay (bucket list stuff!) and at another time at Miller's Point, can't wait!!!

P.S. Was surprised and sad to see that the British Hotel is closed. I really wanted to have a sort of tour of the inside if they'd have allowed me. I would appreciate it if you could let me know what is happening there?
