The lodge is set in two hectares just on the outskirts of the picturesque tourist and art inspired town of White River.
35 kilometers from the famous Kruger National Park and in the center of the Lowveld and panoramic route winding over the mountains and plantations, Monkey Thorn Guest Lodge is a dream inspired truly by this wonderful place. The Lodge was built in 2018 with comfort and privacy in mind whilst keeping and enjoying the wonderful gardens and surroundings.
Monkey Thorn is to become a place visited by those seeking that weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, to go home refreshed then we did our job.

In Room Facilities:Our deluxe large 64 square meters open plan rooms are designed to give our guests space, privacy and luxury, whether for a one night stop over, a weekend romantic getaway or a fortnights break exploring the Lowveld everything has been catered for to give you a memorable vacation.
Each room has either a king size extra long bed or two extra long single beds for the perfect night's sleep.
There is air-con which will cool you in the summer and keep you warm in the winter.
You have your own private patio to watch the sunset while enjoying a sun-downer or for the early birds the morning chorus from the amazing array of resident birds is something not to be missed.

There is a shisanyama along the road . Wow … what a nice place to chill in, the music was good. They braai the meat for the customers.
