A few Blocks Away is THE perfect family home with loads of entertainment for the kids as well as for the adults.
A mere five minutes drive from the iconic Blouberg Beach with postcard view of Table Mountain and a stones throw from Blouberg restaurants and bars.
With all necessary amenities, such as a swimming pool, uncapped fibre, washing machine, dishwasher you wouldn't require anything else for your relaxing holiday in Cape Town.
Enjoy the all the family entertainment this home as to offer.. Parents can enjoy a lovely braai in the pit fire while the kids swim and have fun on the jungle gym as well as bounce around on the trampoline :) On cold evenings enjoy a glass of red wine in the lounge with a nice cosy fire on the go.
This house has 3 bedrooms:
1 x Master bedroom with Queen size bed, en-suite and lots of cupboard space.
2 x bedrooms each with a single bed and decent cupboard space
(Please take note that the one kiddies bed will be replaced with a double bed in November and I will update the pictures and info accordingly)
Fully fitted kitchen with a fridge, gas stove, washing machine and dishwasher which is perfect for those moms wanting a break from the tedious task of washing dishes
As you exit the kitchen you will walk into the dining room which houses a large dining room table perfect for a family meal together. The dining room is also an ideal spot for the adults to sit and catch up whilst the kids have their fun in the garden.
Safe off-street parking is available and the garage can also be used ON REQUEST.
The house does have an alarm and neighbourhood watch in the area.
Pets are allowed by special request.
Should you book a long stay we will ensure the gardener comes in monthly to tidy the garden and the pool will be also be cleaned and maintained.
There is bedding on the beds and extra blankets and we do provide towels. Please do however bring your beach towels along for outings to the beach
Since the hosts will be moving to another city, Andrea and Donovan will be attending to all your needs. They will check you in on arrival and check you out on departure and be available telephonically for any assistance you might need to enjoy an absolutely amazing stay :)
Bloubergrise is just a mere 4 minutes drive and a lovely scenic 10 minute walk to Blouberg beach. I would describe Bloubergstrand as a long stretch of sandy beach perfect for a lovely relaxing stroll with a beautiful view of Table Mountain, one of the most iconic land marks of South Africa as well as one of the 7 Wonders of the world. Blouberg is also a surfer's paradise and has nice restaurants to visit across from the promenade.
Very close to several MyCiti bus stops - just a 25 minute bus from Cape Town City Centre! Metres down the road is our local KwikSpar grogery shop, petrol station, pharmacy and of course coffee shops! Bayside Mall as well as Table Bay Mall for all your more serious shopping is a mere 2 minute and 5 minute drive respectively.

The beach.
Dining out, walking on the beach.
They are not far from shops even if I use Uber it's not expensive.
It is quiet and serene. The beach is easy to access and many people run on the beach or next to it. A great place to visit if you enjoy being active. Also, a very dog friendly place. I would recommend Mozambik for a relaxed meal, but be prepared for noise: it is a very popular location! Both Table Mountain and Robben Island are visisble from Blouberstrand. with Uber, you can get around pretty easily to just about any location.
The beach
We want to thank Marko and his team for their friendliness and welcoming us with open arms on the 4th of July 2022. He gave us a tour through the apartment and made sure that we had all the things we need. The apartment was well cleaned and had all the equipment needed. It is walking distance to the beach and there is a lot of restaurants to choose from in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it for anyone. Sunset court will definitely see us again. Thank you Marko for everything.

I love everything about Bloubergstrand, quietness, I get peace of mind whenever I'm there, I'm even thinking of moving in for real.
