There is something exceptional about the bush that steals a piece of your heart, and for most of our guests, one visit is never enough. During your stay at our lodge, you could fall asleep to the sound of lions roaring, or a mournful Hyena lullaby, while the haunting cry of the Fish Eagle invites guests to rise in time to behold the magnificent African sunrise. For many people, the bush is a place of restoration, and facilities are conducive to helping you find a quiet spot to embrace nature and relax.
In Room Facilities:
Sometimes, you just need a break in a comfortable place you can call home for a few days.
A place where you don’t need to pitch your tent or make the bed. At Phumula Kruger Lodge and Safaris, we offer our guests a home from home, where you get to enjoy the comforts of home, without the responsibilities of home.

Our chalets are designed and equipped to give you an authentic bush experience without having to rough it, and to encourage quality time with family and friends. Our units are serviced daily and even though our chalets are well appointed to allow you the tranquillity of your own space, they still offer convenient access to our lodge facilities.

We have several modules of available accommodation, and the following guide will help you to find the right one to call home for a few days of wild adventures and nights of sweet holiday dreams.
Please note:

• TV is only available in our public areas - we believe one of the best parts of a holiday in the bush is listening to nature’s lullaby at night, with intrusions only by the call of the lions and hyenas.
• Swimming towels are not provided and use of towels provided in accommodation is prohibited at the pool.
• Our rooms and chalets are equipped with fans and air-conditioning for those hot summer nights.
• Safety-deposit box service is available at reception.
• Our lodge is a non-smoking facility, with smoking allowed only in designated areas.

Chalets –
No need to share your room with your children in our 5 and 6 sleeper chalets. These units offer three bedrooms with the main bedroom situated upstairs.

The main bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom with a bath to relax and enjoy mandatory holiday bubble baths. There are two downstairs bedrooms – one has an en-suite bathroom, while the other has a bathroom with a shower located between the two bedrooms.

As an added delight, there is an outside Shower on the deck for a true bush experience!
Each chalet has a comfortable lounge, and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster and a two-plate stove, kettle and fridge. The patio offers an outside entertainment area with a braai for those star-lit nights of recounting the adventures and sightings of the day. This is also the perfect spot for pre-dawn contemplation as you wait for the sun to light the edges of the horizon into the inferno of a brand new day.

Chalet – 6 Sleeper: bedrooms (2 double beds, 1 single beds and the other single bed in lounge), 3 bathrooms, equipped kitchen-fridge, microwave 2 plate/oven combo, lounge, braai area!
Outside Shower on Deck!
All buildings are air-conditioned. All towels and linen (no swimming towels)

Grasstop Rooms – Single Beds
Our comfortable twin rooms each have two (2) single beds, with an en-suite bathroom (shower). You will also find coffee making facilities, a kettle, bar fridge and an induction plate with pots in each room.

Guests have the choice of selecting a room only, or bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed, and breakfast. We also have an a la carte menu as an added option.

Grasstop Rooms – King Size Bed
The twin suite with a king size bed has its own entrance and braai (barbeque) area. Coffee making facilities, a kettle, bar fridge and an induction plate with pots are also included.
Guests have the choice of selecting a room only, or bed and breakfast, or dinner, bed, and breakfast. We also have an a la carte menu as an added option.

Area Information:
Marloth Park is at once a town and nature conservancy, shared equally by man and beast; as well it should since it borders on the Kruger National Park in a bend of the Crocodile River where a residential development has little claim. The advantage to staying in Marloth Park, aside from the incredible beauty of the area, is being able to sight animals just across the river from inside the town. An added bonus is a restriction to which Marloth Park has agreed, which governs their infringing the natural movement of game from the Kruger Park in any way. .

Marloth Park has an abundance of game and birds as well as various lookout areas next to the Crocodile River. Elephant are frequent visitors to the river areas. Although Marloth Park has no resident Elephants, they can be viewed while bathing in the Crocodile River.

Hence around 40 percent of the town?s land area is dedicated to parkland that shares plant, animal and bird species found in the southern part of the Kruger Park. If this perfect picture hasn?t already attracted you to Marloth Park,
then the fact that the town is only an hour?s drive from the Mozambique coastal resorts certainly will.

The town is little more than a garage and a couple of shops - The Trading Post and The Bush Centre - that cater for essentials.

Resident game include:
Impala, Kudu, Giraffe, Waterbuck, Zebra, Crocodile, Warthog etc.

In Marloth Park is a separate nature reserve, Lionspruit, where game, including Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard are kept.

Various predators like lion and leopard can be seen from time to tim

Property Facilities:
Centrally located, we serve as a basis from where Mozambique and Kruger National Park can easily be reached. We take pride in our hospitality and friendly service.

As we roam on our hospitality and friendly service, we have been described as Bella Bellisimo by some of our Italian guests.
Be entertained by kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthogs on your doorstep and even lion. For bird fanatics there is a large variety of birds. The perfect stress reliever!

Nice and quiet, with game walking around the area.
We saw Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe and Wildebeest.
A short drive of 3 minutes takes you to the Olifants river where you can watch all animals going down to the river to drink.
Its also only 17km from Olifants Gate at Komatipoort to go into the Kruger Park.
