Woodys Cottage is a quaint self-catering cottage, located on a private farm, close to a river just outside Himeville in the Southern Drakensberg.
The private cottage is well-equipped with everything guests may need for a truly comfortable stay. The unit comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a large kitchen and lounge area. The bedroom contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, Linen is supplied.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, and ironing facilities. The comfortable lounge area features a TV with selected DStv channels and a fireplace. The lounge opens onto a large private balcony and a garden.
The cottage offers gorgeous mountain views, the peaceful walks or hikes can be enjoyed in the surrounding area, or perhaps some fly-fishing.
In Room Facilities:Woodys has a large king size room which looks out to the covered verandah. The bedroom contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, Linen is supplied.
Area Information:A must-do is a 4X4 Day Trip into Lesotho via Sani Pass must have a passport.
Some great hiking in the area includes Cobham Giants Castle and Giants Cup Trail. Horse riding is available as well as tubing in the summer months.Enjoy the spacious, picturesque garden and all the birdlife it offers.

* Bushman paintings in close proximity to Three Pools, prior arrangements to be made with Lake Naverone
* For the more adventurous, visit Ukhalamba Drakensberg Park situated approximately 4 kms from us which offers picnic facilities, numerous hiking trails, hike to Pillar Cave, Sleeping Beauty Cave or for the very fit climb Rhino Peak one of the highest peaks in the Southern Drakensburg.

Exquisite scenery - very tranquil..
Scenery is beautiful. Well worth a visit for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Lots of amazing hikes and outdoor activities. Road up to Sani Pass is not recommended. Only 4x4. Meal at the restaurant was very disappointing. But views from the top worth the effort!
