Set up under Mopane trees with loving care, this campsite offers guests many shady spots covered with lawn. Apart from showers, toilets and sink units there are several power points all over the site as well as mobile grills.

Area Information:

Only 9 km away the Etosha National Park let's you view elephants taking a bath with their young, a group of zebras filing past on their way to the watering hole, herds of springbok in the savannah, a pair of lions lazing under a bush - in Etosha you experience animals in the wild.

Due heavy rains countrywide since early January 2021, numerous roads and routes might be damaged or even closed. Please follow the updates on Namibia' road conditions for the area you are travelling through and drive with caution.

Property Facilities:

Camping guests are welcome to use the swimming pool of neighbouring Etosha Safari Camp (a two minutes' walk). And those who want to treat themselves to dinner after an exciting day are most welcome at the camp's Okambashu restaurant. The Oshebeena bar next-door, decorated in typical township style, is just the place for a little get-together in the midst of African joie de vivre. Only 9 km away from Andersson gate, the camping site is the ideal basis for safari excursions into Etosha National Park.

Attractions:

The 22 700 square km national park sustains more than 110 different species of mammals and more than 230 species of birds. Its name is derived from the huge salt pan of a dried up lake (Etosha = large white place). Established in 1907, the park is one of the oldest conservation areas in Africa.
