Matabanari Luxury Farm House is a spacious and stylishly furnished self-catering farm house situated on the farm Mooihoek set in the beautiful Mooketsi valley surrounded by hills. The farm is just 4 km off the R36 and 35 km from Tzaneen, which makes visiting nearby attractions such as the Modjadji cycad forest easy and accessible. Matabanari Farm House is a convenient stopover en route to the famous Kruger National Park, Soutpansberg and Timbavati private safari and game lodges, Mpumalanga, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique.
The house overlooks avocado orchards and dragon fruit, and has beautiful scenic views. The farm is rich in bird life, beautiful scenery and the home to a magnificent Nguni herd. A stay at Matabanari is all about wholesome living, connecting with nature and experiencing a little of farm life in a house equipped for simple convenience and comfort. The sound of the jackals cry, and the call of the guinea fowl and franklin all make for a memorable stay.
The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and contains 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet, a large farmhouse kitchen, a dining room and 2 lounge areas. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The bathrooms each contain a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, and a 4-seater table and chairs. The dining room contains a round 6-seater dining table and has sliding doors opening to the outdoors. The 2 lounge areas both offer comfortable seating; one has a built-in bar with stools and the other has a fireplace. Free Wi-Fi is available. Outdoors is a swimming pool, a thatched lapa with sun loungers and outdoor dining furniture. The property is fenced.
