Welcome to Kiburi Lodge @ Kruger - your next bucket list experience!

Set in the heart of the African Bush, the weather is warm and pleasant all year round. There are no demarcation fences in between the homesteads, therefore the game roam about freely. Our guests absolutely love the animals always keen to meet new visitors.

Kiburi Lodge @ Kruger is situated in the lovely wildlife reserve known as Marloth Park, which is on the banks of the Crocodile River bordering Kruger National Park. Surrounded by pristine parkland area, the property is private and secluded.

Kiburi Lodge is a self-catering holiday home comprising of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, an open plan kitchen and spacious living area. There is an optional outdoor shower outside Indlulamithi room. The house has a large open-plan kitchen as well as a spacious living area.

Bedroom 1: Indlulamithi (Giraffe theme) has an en-suite bathroom, private patio, outdoor shower and a private rock pool where you can relax whilst watching the bold and brilliant African sunset.

You also have a private garden and private braai (BBQ) area bordering the parkland area where you can enjoy an open air braai and left breathless by the beauty of the stars in the Milky Way.

Bedroom 2: Idube (Zebra theme) has access to bathroom next door to bedroom.

The kitchen contains a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery and other basic kitchen utensils to make for an easy self-catering get-away. The lounge area is fitted with comfortable seating and a TV with full bouquet Dstv, while the dining area has a table and chairs for up to 6 guests.

The outdoor area of the house has a large refreshing pool, an undercover braai (BBQ) area, surrounded by a lush and tranquil garden.

Guests are supplied with tea, coffee and sugar and sweetener. Our guests in Kiburi Lodge also have full access to the well-stocked herbs and spices cabinet.

Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is a delightful open plan sleeper unit. The cosy cottage has a queen size bed and two single beds. The cottage is ideal for a couple or for a young family.

The compact kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.

Our cottage does not have a TV - instead: you have 'African Bush TV' whilst relaxing around the outdoor boma braai (BBQ) or in the splash pool and enjoying the animals walking right up to the small wall separating the cottage garden from the parkland area. If you are looking for a break of a few days from technology - this is the place to come and relax.

Our guests are supplied with tea, coffee, sugar and sweetener.

Kiburi Cottage and Kiburi Lodge can be rented separately or together to accommodate 8 people maximum.

Marloth Park, as a wildlife sanctuary bordering the Kruger National Park is a very special place. Animals such as Impala, Kudu, Bushbuck, Zebra, Giraffe and Warthog are found roaming around freely and they love it if you feed them game pellets.

You can do a self-drive to Kruger National Park, or we can arrange a game drive on your behalf.

The Crocodile River is the border in between Marloth Park and the world famous Kruger National Park. From the various lookout points inside Marloth Park along the Crocodile River you are likely to see Elephants and Hippo cooling down in the river.

Kiburi Lodge @ Kruger & Kiburi Cottage @ Kruger is your ideal starting point for exploring Kruger National Park. As Marloth Park is situated in between two of Kruger National Park's southern entrance gates, you are spoiled for choice.

Crocodile Bridge Gate is 14 kilometers away and the Malelane Gate is 35 kilometers away.

Other activities nearby include Tiger Fishing, Elephant Safari’s, Quad Biking, Bush & River Walks and Bird watching.

Marloth Park is not a party venue. Visitors to our park appreciate the calm serenity of the African Bush and enjoy a peaceful break from their daily busy lives.

Remember your binoculars for game drives.
Very important to note: remember sunscreen and mosquito repellent in summer.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean, well kept facilities. The peace and quiet of the undisturbed nature all around. The warm pool, with the option of a small private pool next to your room...

I love the closeness to wildlife and the Krugerpark. You dont need to even get in your car and drive to see any animals, zebra, antelope, bushbuck and warthogs visited every day at the house. Just to sit on the stoep with a fire and watch the animals is truely amazing. Everything you need is right there, shops, butchery, place to eat, its just so convenient. I love Marloth!!
