Sunset Beach is a lush, self-catering beach house located in the beautiful village of Blue Horizon Bay and can accommodate 8 guests. Blue Horizon Bay is more or less halfway between Port Elizabeth and Jeffrey's Bay. The unit has a beautiful sea view and is 50 meters from the beach. There is also a cafe and restaurant / bar one km from the unit.
The beach and fishing places are all within walking distance of the beach house.
Sunset Beach is located in a nature conservation area and there are frequent visits of bushbuck, and other small game, as well as whales in season. Dolphins are also regularly in the sea, right in front of the beach house.
Other attractions are Van Staden's holiday resort, located about four kilometers from Blue Horizon Bay. There are quite a few wedding venues near Blue Horizon Bay, of which Slipperfields is a very well known wedding and conference venue, as well as the Kragga Kamma Wild Reserve.
"Sunset Beach" can comfortably accommodate 8 people and is ideal for more than one family or friends.
The beach house consists of the following:
The ground floor has a spacious open plan which includes a sitting, dining, TV room, kitchen and bar area. The washing facilities run out of the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, electric appliances, oven, stove and fridge. There is a dishwasher as well as a washing machine in the washing up area.
The braai room is under the roof and runs out of the bar area. The room is ideal when the weather doesn't permit outside braaiing.
The front rooms all have sliding doors that open completely. The rooms all open onto a large patio overlooking the sea with a small pool. Just the right place to cool off in the hot summer days.
There is a large bedroom with a queen and single bed that opens onto the deck and is ideal for a family with a child. There is also a guest toilet on the ground floor.
The first floor consists of four spacious bedrooms, three of which have king size beds. The fourth room has a double bed. All rooms have more than enough storage space so you don't have to live out of your suitcase at all.
There are two guest bathrooms on the first floor which both consist of a large bath, shower, basin and toilet.
All bedrooms have sliding doors that open onto a large patio. Just the right place to relax and experience the beautiful sunrise and sunset.
Important Notice: No functions or parties are allowed to be held in the house.

Blue Horizon Bay Reviews
What a tranquil setting. Just sitting on the patio and looking at the beach down below. Watching the boats sailing by or at night when all is dark staring at the chokka boats on the sea all lit up. Friendly owners who make you feel like family. Would go there again.
