A comfortable sojourn is guaranteed by 66 en suite rooms with air conditioning. Our accommodation is air-conditioned, mostly twin bedded rooms, with some family rooms. The rooms overlook either vast desert landscapes or the fossilised dunes. Shaded camping sites under acacia trees at the bank of a dry riverbed are available for campers.

Fantastic scenic location with an amazing view of the cliffs as the sun sets. Easy to find, halfway between Solitaire and Sesriem. Amazing staff, wonderful rooms, and great food. Highly recommend.
We arrived late on Sunday evening due to a tyre blow out between Aus and Namib Desert Lodge. We made contact with head office to let them know we were going to check in late and what our situation was. Head Office kept in contact with us all the time until we confirmed that we have arrived safely. By the time we arrived, NDL knew about us and our ordeal. Rudi was so accommodating and even organized us a pizza to enjoy at our tent, although they were only serving buffet that evening. Rudi phoned around and helped my husband to get one more spare tyre as we couldn't continue our trip without it. NOTHING we asked Rudi was an effort for him to help us with. He is a true asset to your lodge. Go2Camping is an absolute must. Clean, fully equipped, spacious tents with breathtaking views. The swimming pool, bar and restaurant at the main lodge is not to be missed. I can honestly say Namib Desert Lodge is one of the best places we have ever visited. They have exceeded our expectation. Thank you so much Rudi and your team for an unforgettable stay.
