Bush Elegance, the bush getaway with a difference!
Doringpoort Safari Lodge is nestled in the unspoilt bush that borders the southern tip of the World renowned Kruger National Park wildlife conservancy. It has its own unique atmosphere with all the luxuries to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay in the bush. Doringpoort Lodge is a unique establishment within Marloth Park. You are offered Luxury Self-catering accommodation with a B&B option.
A couple of the properties unique features include, Lemoentjie doring's open air kitchen, which has a garden view & Apies doring's open air shower & toilet with a true African bush veld view & en-suite bathrooms in all of our rooms.
Start or end your day with a relaxing walk along the banks of the Crocodile River just 200m from your accommodation.
The Lodge is located within a private conservancy, affording guests a unique opportunity to appreciate the abundance of free-roaming game and birdlife. Undercover parking is also available (one per unit). Guests can use their own high clearance vehicle for self - drive game drives. Walking, running and mountain biking are allowed within the conservancy. Marloth Park has his own small shopping centre (enquire about operating hours), where you are able to purchase all of the basic necessities you may require. Crocodile Bridge gate is our nearest entry point into Kruger Park and is only 20 km away.
Doringpoort also adds the extra service on an on-site Tour desk that is available to arrange all activities within Kruger Park and the surrounding areas, subject to availability. For your convenience we also have an on-site convenience shop with some basic items, like wood, ice, braai packs, charcoal, blitz and water.
We have taken many safety and security precautions with our modern safety and security features such as a 24 hour response team, alarm systems, safety and security doors and windows so that you can enjoy your stay without concern.
A backup 45-kva diesel generator is installed in case of power failure, generator will operate from 9am to 9pm during load shedding.
Notice: Due to Covid 19 protocols "Die Grot" and "Die Ossewa Restaurant" is temporarily not available, however we still offer in-house catering delivered directly to your unit. Only Breakfast and Dinner options available with prior arrangement.
Functions will still be catered at the dedicated place chosen/arranged.
