This beautiful cottage is in the heart of the Klein Karoo on a private Game and Nature Reserve, between Barrydale and Ladismith. Enjoy the Karoo night sky, stunning sunsets, nature walks, 4X4 trails, game viewing and getting back to nature.
The cottage is off the grid, and comes fully furnished.

It was a very good African stay. Far from civilization. All the basics one needs to make it comfortable. Safe enviroment with beautifull drives and animals. I am interested in suculents, and it was a paradise of plants. Though you had to get on your knees to look closely.. Just a blessed experience and we will defnitely go back. Good therapy for the soul.

Set in one of the most beautiful destinations within quick reach of Cape Town, this beautiful quiet retreat space has become one of my favourite destinations for a short break. It's not unusual to be greeted at dawn by barking baboons up in the koppie that gives the cottage its name, giraffe, wildebeest and other animals wandering by.
The accommodation is perfect for a quiet stay. Cooled by afternoon breezes & a delightful plunge pool, a fab outdoor shower with an astonishing view over koppies and plains will really steal your heart. With really comfy beds, an eclectic and delightful art collection, and a big slouchy sofa to hang out on and read, I felt rested and refreshed after just two short days. Highly recommended!
