Welcome to Evenstar Lodge.
Evenstar Lodge is an exquisite holiday home nestled within the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, located 30 km outside the town of Bela-Bela. The agricultural region is well-known for its geothermic hot springs and features a variety of natural attractions.
The accommodation is provided for 8 guests and comprises the 2-bedroom main house as well as a separate cottage which consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms, a living area, and deck. All the bedrooms contain a double bed and each has an en-suite bathroom fitted with bath or shower facilities.
The open-plan kitchen is located in the main house and is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave and cooking utensils. A separate entertainment area contains a TV. The living area features an 8-seater dining table, comfortable lounge suite, a fireplace, and opens onto the deck.
The main house boasts a lovely wraparound deck, outdoor boma, and a swimming pool with magnificent views of the reserve. The reserve offers recreational facilities such as tennis courts, squash courts, putt-putt, hot and cold swimming pools, and a Jacuzzi, while a restaurant, farm store, bar area, boma, and a sauna are also available.
Should the lockdown be “extended” or travel not be permitted, our 1st plan of action has been not to necessarily cancel guests' booking as such, but attempt to only postpone/move to an alternative date or future dates! We understand that you wont be able to provide us with dates as yet, but we are more than willing to hold on to your reservation for at least a year, of course subject to availability. If your circumstances prevent this or would not seem to be possible, we would submit your cancellation request (motivation) to our management team, and an administration charge/fee (approx. R250) would be applicable. If you do decide to only postpone your booking, there will be no other costs involved at all.
