Masango Camp is a game lodge that offers rustic chalets, and is situated within 30 km from Hoedspruit. The lodge is geared to put one in close contact with the sights, sounds and scents of the wild.
Accommodation at Masango Camp comprises 8 Chalets, which can accommodate 2 guests in each. Each chalet features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and contains an overhead fan, electric lights, and power points, as well as mosquito nets fitted on each bed.
The camp has a good-sized swimming pool and an open boma with a fire-pit and braai area. The central common room has a bar, a breakfast nook, a lounge, as well as indoor dining facilities. Masango Camp is part of the Motlala Game Reserve and wild animals such as buffalo, nyala, impala, giraffe and rhino are common visitors.
The camp was named after the late Ronald Masango, who was part of Viva Safaris’, and the whole region’s first-ever black camp manager.

The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
