“GemAfrica" is a cosy self-catering home away from home, situated in a very tranquil location in the heart of the Garden Route’s Langvlei Dunes. The house borders the Wilderness´ National Park, is surrounded by nature, rich birdlife and wildlife and is only 5 minutes away from some spectacular beaches.
The holiday house consists of two en-suite bedrooms; each bedroom can sleep two guests in a queen size and 2 single beds respectively. The living area features a cosy lounge with comfortable seating and a TV. The big open plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.
Outside there is a private deck with garden furniture and braai facilities where you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Guests are welcome to use the communal pool.
You'll be located in the perfect place to access, explore and enjoy a wide variety of walks, hiking and mountain biking trails, boating and canoeing. It is also a birder’s and nature lover’s paradise! With the area being one of the top 10 paragliding sites in the world, it is also the perfect haven for paragliders.
Wilderness is a 9km drive from us and is a delightful village to find great coffee, enjoy good food and wine in the many restaurants there as well as shop locally. The world famous Wild Oats Farmer’s market in Sedgefield is a ‘must do’. The market is only 10 minutes away and open every Saturday. Further east or west along the N2, guests can find the lovely towns of Knysna and George respectively, where they can find plenty more shops, restaurants and entertainment.
The holiday home of GemAfrica is managed by your German/ South African hosts Anke and Falk who will gladly and happily assist you and advise you of all that there is to do in the area and help you to plan your daily trips.
