Welcome to Firefly Eco Lodge,
Firefly Eco Lodge is set in a pristine forest just outside Port Edward, on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal.
The accommodation comprises of Five (5) log cabins and one (1) tented suite. Set in its own 8 Hectares of forest, with a private dam, the lodge is home to small wildlife, including shy duiker, bush buck, resident likkewaan, african pythons, bush pigs, mongoose an array of birds, including its resident fish eagles and breeding crowned crane - a bird watchers dream.
Enjoy a stroll to the dam, or visit the vegan and vegetarian friendly Firefly Cafe, and enjoy a coffee, while sitting out on the deck overlooking our valley. Join in on one of our yoga classes, or walk or drive down to one of our local beaches. Firefly Eco Lodge has everything you need to get away and relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful with lovely hosts.
Such a lovely, friendly place to stay.
We spent a wonderful week there just before Christmas. Wow! We could relax and unwind and just breathe. We took our fur babies along, including our cat as the one unit has a built in cattery. Nathalie and Angelique have literally thought of everything!
The food they prepare in the on site restaurant was SO good and they even have a menu for our dogs!
We'll definitely be going back!!

The proximity of the cottage to Kid's Beach - it was a stones-throw away from the accommodation which worked so well for us.
