This cosy cottage is situated in the small fishing town of Britannia Bay - an absolutely perfect getaway for a family eyeing rest and relaxation.
With space for up to 4 guests, the cottage is comprised of 2 bedrooms - each with a double bed - and a shared bathroom. All linen and towels are provided.
The living area boasts an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with an indoor fireplace/braai/bbq, which is nothing short of perfect, especially during a west coast winter. This then leads onto an outdoor patio with fire pit and family seating.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering purposes with everything you need for your stay-away-from-home: Stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, including a washing machine.
The town itself, a west coast gem, is situated roughly 160km from Cape Town, boasting some of the most beautiful beaches South Africa has to offer.
There are countless activities to consider: Fishing, swimming, canoeing, surfing, bird watching and cycling just to name a few.
But, with the beach just a 4 minute walk from the backdoor, lazing about on the sand may just become your favourite activity of choice.
The bays that chisel out this extraordinary coast are popular for whale and dolphin spotting when seasonally they visit and wow on-lookers with their playful splashing.
This is truly a wonderful getaway for those seeking quiet and pleasure. As it is a family neighbourhood, noise should be kept to a minimum. Not ideal for those seeking a party.
