Welcome to The Olive House,
The Olive House is quintessential Karoo: quiet escapism in a setting that is unsurpassed in Prince Albert.
Views into the Swartberg and the distant Karoo form the living space which is surrounded by textured farmland only a five minute walk into town. A werf of green surrounds the lei-water-fed dam and swimming pool while beyond the werf wall indigenous Karoo-veld shrubs and grasses form the most natural of wild gardens into which three en-suite cottages disappear.

Prince Albert Reviews
Beautiful small town situated in the Karoo. Very friendly and accomadating people.
Swartberg Pass access.
Galleries and restaurants.
Like visiting the past.
'n Absolute moet besoek juweel in die Karoo.
Great food, shops and Swartberg pass is a must-do.
Everything!
It is a beautiful little town with good coffee, G & T's ( best ever at the local hotel) and friendly people.
The main road setting, restuarants, fleemarket, musuem. Cleanliness, Friendly People.
Lovely little gem of a town. Lots of things to do, eateries and little shops and galleries to visit. At the base of the most spectacular mountain pass in all Africa.
The charm and character of this town impressed me. The Karoo gardens are beautiful and there are interesting local products for sale. I recommend the book shop in Marlene's home.
Peace and quiet; feeling of safety; good clean air. We attended a wonderful photographic course with Louis Botha.
