“THE GRIFFINS” is perfectly located for those early mornings when you want to launch your boat for a day of fishing OR be on the beach for a sun rise stroll.
The house is excellently located directly opposite the main beach entrance. Sea sand is a short stroll away and a beautiful blue pool, with a cover, awaits your return. Lounge around the pool, soak up the sun on a lounger with a fruity cocktail in hand, or read a good book under the ample shaded space.
The house is well equipped, there is 1 outside staff member, rent a maid for inside, and offers Wi-Fi and a smart TV for DSTV streaming. The property is well secured by an alarm and outer beams linked to armed response, it is gated and walled, and has security gates and guards on windows and doors. There are two lock up garages available, and secure parking for 3 more cars off road. A large gas braai and built-in charcoal braai is supplied & small gas braai. There is a generator (1 tank of petrol supplied), rechargeable lights, a Nespresso Machine, 20 000 liters of back up water.
The inside of the house contains the following: An open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen and scullery, the living area is spacious enough for a large group. At the front of the house is ample space with cover for enjoying the view or al-fresco dining.
The kitchen has a microwave, gas stove, bar fridge, dishwasher, and all cutlery and crockery is provided, 3 Fridges, 2 large and a bar fridge. Laundry facilities: washing machine and tumble dryer. All linen, bath and beach towels are provided. The main bedroom has an AC and all others have ceiling fans. Bedrooms all have large built-in cupboards and hangers are provided.
The house sleeps 12 (max 10 adults) and the bed and bath room configuration are as follows: House: 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms & Flat with its own on-suite.
House: 1st bedroom: Main bedroom with King Size bed, on-suite with bath, shower, basin and toilet. 2nd bedroom with Queen size bed, on-suite with bath, shower, toilet and basin. 3rd bedroom: Queen size bed. 4th bedroom: Queen size bed and one single bed. Bedroom 2 & 4 share a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. The Flat: one King size bed and one single bed, on-suite with shower, basin and toilet. The flat is spacious and also has a little kitchenette and is ideal for the younger crowd.
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Daily outside staff levy: R250. Breakage deposit of 10% of the value of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages.
PEAK SEASON: Please note the options during the following period: Dec & Jan.
Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement are 14 nights.
Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 10 nights, these 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 – 7 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.

The safety and clean beach.
Safe swimming beach. Beautiful lagoon. Well maintained and clean.
Maree is a top class cook, she made us feel very welcome. The small touches from the welcome platter to bedroom chocolate treats are amazing. Her kindness was endearing The accommodation and service staff are top class. The village is beautiful and if you get a chance, have a sunset with Alf who has many interesting stories or get him to take you for a walk in the local conservation area. Thank you for a memorable stay we would love to come back.
A haven of peace and tranquility. Good for the soul.
Small community. Away from the maddening crowds. Wonderful for families with small children, who can play on the shores of the lagoon. Very laidback. Be prepared to cater for yourself - only 1 or 2 restaurants/cafes.
