Cogs and Gears is a 2 bedroom self-catering apartment in the quiet upscale residential area of Plattekloof, Cape Town. The apartment is a one-of-a-kind steampunk design with hand-decorated walls and bespoke themed items and scenic views of Cape Town and Table mountain.
The open plan lounge/kitchen area has a low thatched roof, thus all open flames are prohibited. This area has an air conditioner, wall-mounted smart TV with Netflix, and a comfortable seating area for 4 people. Wifi uncapped fiber is provided free of charge.
The main bedroom is furnished with an XL Queen-size bespoke four-poster bed. The 2nd bedroom has a king-size bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath, separate shower, toilet, and basin. Hot water is provided by a gas geyser. The unit is on solar power that is shared with the rest of the property. We ask that guests do not use any other electrical equipment other than provided. Please do not use the air conditioner at the same time as the kitchen appliances, other than the fridge, as this will overload the solar system inverter.
The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, freezer, induction plate, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. There is also a washing machine in the unit with a laundry dry rack. Please use only liquid laundry soap in the machine, and also during the day as the machine runs on solar power.
The apartment has mountain and city skyline views.
Free parking is available on the sidewalk, in front of the unit's entrance.

Shops, Mountain, low density area
Beautiful view of Table Mountain, the V & A Waterfront and beautiful sunsets. Close proximity to Cape Town city. Spotless, tastefully setup, wonderful hostess.
Short distance from Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Grand West Casino, Table Mountain and not too far from Cape Town International Airport. The breakfast was good to keep us going until, lunch at Moyo Restaurant at Bloomberg Strand or their branch at Spier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.
