GANZVLEI MANOR MAIN HOUSE
The Villa has 3 en-suite bedrooms, cozy lounge areas with a double-sided fireplace, a dining room that can accommodate 6 people, a library if you’re looking for a bit of solitude, and for those who enjoy cooking, a fully equipped, large kitchen.
The Garden Room, with its own private deck, & the Ponds Room are on the ground floor. Both have wood-burning heaters/stoves in the room for the colder months. The Loft Room is on the 1st floor.
An extra light-filled studio on the 1st floor is perfect for morning meditations, Pilates & yoga - so pack your mat! Massages & facials can be arranged in-house (at additional cost).
Enjoy cooking? You'll love the villa's kitchen: a stove (7-plate hob & 3 ovens), microwave, fridge, ice machine, dishwasher, kettle & toaster. An entertainer's dream!!
Additional facilities include a washing machine, tumble dryer, and ironing facilities.
The deck overlooking the valley spans the entire length of the main house. It’s a magnificent space to start the day with a cup of steaming hot coffee or tea as the early morning mist lifts to reveal the splendor of the valley. And an equally magical space to enjoy sundowners as the evening takes over from the day.
BEDROOM 1: THE GARDEN ROOM
Reminiscent of a traditional farmhouse bedroom, the Garden Room is about old-world charm – a bygone era. Original yellow wood floors and beams. The Garden Room has a comfortable queen-sized bed and a spacious bathroom with both a bath and shower. The Garden Room is the only room in the main house with its own private deck. It has a wood-burning stove for cold winter nights.
BEDROOM 2: THE PONDS ROOM
A colorful kaleidoscope of opulence. A comfortable queen-sized, four-poster takes center stage, and the room overlooks the ponds that lie at the back of the property. The room has a spacious, light-filled bathroom with both a shower (large) and a bath. The Ponds Room has a wood-burning stove for cold winter nights.
BEDROOM 3: THE LOFT ROOM
A whimsical, romantic space that combines traditional and modern elements. A comfortable double bed invites for a good night’s rest. The old-world bathroom invites you to soak away the day’s cares in a Victorian tub while the trees watch over you.
GANZVLEI MANOR COTTAGE
The woodland cottage is a studio apartment with a cozy kitchenette (fridge, gas hob, combination microwave & convection oven); a big-shower bathroom, and a balcony overlooking a private woodland. The cottage enjoys complete privacy from the main house. It’s the perfect spot to laze on a sunny day or enjoy an alfresco meal. And in winter, light the woodburning stove to create the perfect cocoon.

Knysna is magnificent! We enjoyed the whole experience it has on offer (or as much as we could see and do... due to Covid.)
